21 March 2019 Passionate about beauty, you elevate luxury brands' standards perception with in-store ideas and solutions? A Cosmetic Group is looking for its Global Visual Merchandising Director in New York City. A role that will take place in an international environment and will require strong management & relational skills, autonomy, and agility.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Build & drive 360° merchandising in-store projects, from concept to implementation guidelines with a team
Support design and deliver temporary and permanent in-store materials and provide guidelines
Lead the collaboration with marketing & creative departments to deliver a consistent brief to design agencies
Transform a creative concept into technical briefs for global or local production & procurement purposes, to ensure quality excellence
Manage the projects, ensuring deadlines, budget, delivery, and implementation of the assets developed in collaboration with the Go-To-Market team
Create and draw up the merchandising guidelines to ensure constant optimization of work tools, processes, and communication
Coach and train Go-To-Markets and/or local affiliate staff during annual merchandising seminars or market visits
EXPERIENCES, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Strong merchandising and business backgrounds, international scope
10 to 15 years visual merchandising experience within luxury houses
Cosmetics field knowledge is mandatory
You are a creative thinker, detail-oriented with an eye for design
Strong leadership & communication skills
Agility, power of persuasion, and technical knowledge to read and support creative solutions while remaining flexible
Excellent interpersonal skills, autonomy
EDUCATION
Business School degree and/or University Graduate and/or BA in Visual Design, Merchandising, Fine Arts, Interior Design. This position is based in New York (USA). #J-18808-Ljbffr
